The 2011 Kingfisher Fall Fest was host by Trinity Lutheran LWML at Trinity Lutheran Church in El Reno on September 17, 2011. To set the theme, Debbie Faloon of Trinity had a power point of a video and music playing during registration and morning coffee. Before the opening devotion, Gwen Mindemann from Apache, Okla. signed the song “Still Her Little Child” and at closing she signed the “ The Lord Prayer”. Pastor Hefta of Trinity lead our opening and closing devotions. Our speaker was Delores Sanders of the “God Helping Hands” mission shelter in El Reno. Pastor David Kaiser of Mt Calvary Church in Watonga, lead the Bible Study. Karen Rumsey will be doing our banner for 2012 District Convention. We had 44 attendees, including 3 Pastors and 7 guests. We received $437.00 in mite offering, $44.00 from LWML store, and after expenses from registration funds, we had $185.00 which brought a total of $622.00 for Mites. Collected for Gifts of the Heart which went to God’s Helping Hands were 4 large boxes and 13 stacks consisting of paper towels, blankets, towels, sheets and non-perishable items. The LWR received 33 personal kits, 10 school kits, 1 soap, 17 fabric kits, and a $200 check to LWR for shipping. We had a beautiful and blessed day. Praise the Lord!
